Psychotherapy

I primarily utilize mindfulness-based, third-wave cognitive behavioral therapy in my work, with an emphasis on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). The goal of ACT is to help clients increase psychological flexibility and promote values-based behavior. ACT is an evidence-based therapeutic modality. I primarily work with people experiencing the negative effects of generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, emotional dysregulation, unhelpful perfectionism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), substance abuse, trauma, life transitions, and issues surrounding identity. I have also received training in mindfulness, exposure and response prevention (ERP), and the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM).
